Welcome to our website. "We" are Jan and Steve Burkholder. We spend 4 months a year cruising in our sailboat. The other 8 months of the year, we return to our home in Seattle, Washington. This site is for our family and friends to keep up with us. Also, we provide some links and information for other sailors who may come after us.
This website is a joint effort from both of us. Each of us has written about half of it. A difficulty you may incur when reading it, is trying to determine which one of us wrote a particular entry, as we often write it from a first person perspective. So it becomes confusing whether it was Steve or Jan who authored a particular section. Sometimes, even we can't remember. But I think it is clear that I take the better pictures.
